Matildas surprised by Nikki Webster singing their Women's World Cup song 'Strawberry Kisses'

The 'Strawberry Kisses' star Nikki Webster surprised the Matildas after their Women's World Cup campaign.

The Matildas were given another surprise to round out their Women's World Cup celebrations, with Nikki Webster flying to Brisbane to perform.

Tony Gustavason's side were honoured with a key to the city of Brisbane on Sunday following their fourth-place finish on home soil

Webster's 2000's hit became the Matildas' go-to song during the tournament across their seven matches.

It was another surprise from Football Australia, who brought in Australian sporting hero Cathy Freeman pre-tournament, for the team.

Webster is reported to have answered a "late phone call" from the federation on Saturday before jumping on a flight early Sunday morning to surprise the team.
